Replacement of failed loading hopper bearing

Completion date: 17 January 2022

Following an emergency call-out, we attended site to undertake an inspection of the loading hopper. We identified that the tail drum bearing had failed due to material ingress which caused the rear sprocket to impact the side of the structure. Remediation required bearing replacement, along with realignment of the shaft and chain.
